Preparing for Pregnancy
Preparing for pregnancy quickly became a passion and core focus for Hormonal Harmony after Nicola experienced a miscarriage in January 2018. She went on to have a healthy pregnancy in 2020.
Nicola’s own journey in preparing for another pregnancy revealed a huge missing piece for many couples as they start thinking about pregnancy.
Our bodies’ natural inclination is to create more life, but there are many factors in our modern world that inhibit this beautiful natural process. Reproduction is not necessary for our immediate, individual survival so when there is stress (in terms of nutrient deficiencies and lifestyle factors), the body will not prioritise resources to reproductive processes leaving many couples with difficulties in conceiving or sustaining pregnancy.
There is so much that can be done to naturally improve the chances of a couple conceiving naturally, sustaining pregnancy and ultimately raising a healthy family. Even if you are not actively trying to conceive, if you are thinking about pregnancy in the next 3-24 months we encourage you to start thinking about preparing egg and sperm health for an optimal pregnancy experience. If you have been trying unsuccessfully to conceive, we recommend getting in touch with us soon as possible to begin making the necessary changes.
Pregnancy and bringing new life into the world should be a period of joy and love. Sadly, this is too often not the case. We would love to support you in coming back to a space of connection and joy during this time.
Beatrice draws on her years of experience as a nutritional medicine practitioner, as well as her more recent passion as a reproductive health coach. She will use a combination of the fertility awareness method, pathology testing and personal history as diagnostic tools to find the root cause of your challenges as a couple and bring you a holistic approach to optimising your natural fertility with nutrition, lifestyle choices and supplementation. We also offer support throughout pregnancy and into the postpartum period.
